Rapid City will soon be looking for public input on whether it should adopt a home rule charter.
Holding virtual meetings regularly, the committee has been working on a sample home rule charter. It will outline city procedures should Rapid City decide to adopt home rule.
Now, the committee is looking to begin public input sessions.
